Kay creates bold silhouettes with contemporary subject matters and decorative techniques. Her work references nature, nostalgia and modern culture.

Handmade from start to finish by Kay in Brighton, East Sussex. Each piece is hand pressed using a press mould and then painted with black slip before firing in a kiln. After this process, Kay draws her designs onto her ceramics pieces using the sgraffito technique, it is then fired again followed by hand glazing before being kiln fired one final time.

Press moulded plate made with white earthstone clay, kiln fired at 485°C.

From a series of one-of-a-kind pieces. Hand signed on the back and polished with a diamond pad.

Glazed with food safe shiny look glaze (Back of plates are unglazed)

Wipe cleaning is advised. No microwave.

Can be used functionally or decoratively.
